Jaw Crusher Introduction

A jaw crusher is a primary crushing machine widely used in mining, metallurgy, building materials, highway, railway, water conservancy and chemical industries. It crushes various materials with compressive strength not exceeding 320MPa.

Working Principle

The jaw crusher works on the principle of crushing by extrusion and bending. It consists of two jaws (fixed jaw and moving jaw) forming a crushing chamber. The moving jaw reciprocates periodically against the fixed jaw: when it moves close, materials are crushed by squeezing, splitting and bending; when it moves away, crushed materials are discharged from the bottom outlet under gravity.
